# Restore a deleted future or board

Deleted futures and boards stay in **Recently Deleted** for 30 days. You can restore them while they are still there.

## Restore an item

1. Tap **Today**.
2. Open your profile.
3. Under **Backup & Sync**, tap **Recently Deleted**.
4. Tap the future or board you want back.
5. Tap **Restore**.

The item leaves Recently Deleted and returns to your library. If you deleted a board and its futures separately, restore the futures too.

## Restore several items

1. Open **Recently Deleted**.
2. Tap **Select**.
3. Tap the items you want back. Tap **All** to select everything shown.
4. Tap the curved arrow at the bottom. This is **Restore**.

The number at the bottom shows how many items you selected.

## Delete forever

**Delete Forever** permanently removes an item. You cannot bring it back from Recently Deleted afterward.

To remove one item:

1. Open **Recently Deleted**.
2. Tap the item.
3. Tap **Delete Forever**.
4. Read the warning.
5. Confirm **Delete Forever** only if you want to remove it permanently.

For several items, tap **Select**, choose the items, and tap the red trash button. Review the confirmation before continuing.

## If you cannot find an item

It may have passed the 30-day period or been deleted forever. If you have a saved backup, read [Restore a backup](https://futurecastapp.com/help/account-backup#restore-a-backup) before changing your current library.

If a restore shows an error, the item can remain in Recently Deleted. Read the message and retry there. [Contact support](https://futurecastapp.com/help/account-support) if it keeps failing.
