# Add a board someone shared with you

A shared board is a group of futures sent through a link. You can add a copy to your own boards.

## Add a board

1. Open the shared link.
2. If it opens in your browser, tap **Open in Futurecast**.
3. Review the **Shared Board** preview.
4. Tap **Add to my boards**.
5. Wait while the board is added.

If you already added that board, **Open Board** takes you to your existing copy.

## If you do not have Futurecast yet

1. Open the shared link in your browser.
2. Tap **Get Futurecast** to open the App Store.
3. Install Futurecast and finish its setup.
4. Return to the original shared link.
5. Tap **Open in Futurecast**, then follow the steps above to add the board.

Installing the app alone does not confirm that the board was added. Look for it in your boards after importing.

## After adding

Tap **Practice Now** to begin, or **Open Board** to view it.

Your copy contains the shared text and available images. It does not include the sender's voice recordings. You can personalize your copy in Futurecast.

Your copy stays in your library if the sender later stops sharing. Later changes to the sender's board do not automatically change your copy.

## If a link will not open

Read the message on the screen. A link can be stopped, expired, or unavailable.

- For a connection problem, reconnect and tap **Try Again**.
- For a link that has ended, ask the sender for a new link.
- If you blocked the creator, use **Unblock** if you want to open their shared boards again.

If adding fails, use **Try Again** from the error screen. If some images are unavailable, the imported board can contain text cards in their place.

## Report a board

1. Open the shared link in Futurecast.
2. Tap the three-dot menu on **Shared Board**.
3. Tap **Report this board**.
4. Choose the reason that fits.
5. Read the result. If sending failed, follow the error message.

## Block or unblock a creator

Blocking stops that creator's shared boards from opening on this device.

1. Open one of their shared links in Futurecast.
2. Tap the three-dot menu.
3. Tap **Block this creator**.
4. Tap **Block** to confirm.

To unblock later:

1. Open Profile from **Today**.
2. Under **Privacy**, tap **Blocked Creators**.
3. Find the creator.
4. Tap **Unblock**.

Blocking is separate from deleting a board already in your library.

## Report from the browser

You can report a shared board without adding it.

1. Open the shared link in your browser.
2. Tap **Report this board** at the bottom of the page, if shown.
3. Choose a reason.
4. Add a note or email address if you want to. These fields are optional.
5. Tap **Submit report**.
6. Check for **Report submitted** or an error message.
