Use AI to speak your futures

A Voice Clone is a reusable AI version of your voice.

A Voice Clone is a reusable AI version of your voice. After setup, Futurecast can use it to speak your futures without asking you to record every one.

It is separate from a manual recording. You can record futures yourself without creating a Voice Clone.

Before you start

Use your own voice. Find a quiet place where you can read a few lines aloud.

Setup uses a recording sample to create the reusable voice. Read the consent screen before continuing. You can open View Privacy Policy there. You can also read How your voice is handled on the voice settings page.

Setup and generated speech depend on the access and allowance shown in your app. Read any limit message before creating or re-recording a voice. Do not assume that repeating setup is free.

Set up your voice

  1. Open Profile.
  2. Under My Likeness, tap Voice Clone. This opens Voice for futures.
  3. Tap Start setup, then Begin.
  4. Read the consent choices. Confirm them only if they apply to you.
  5. Tap Record my sample.
  6. Tap the microphone button and read the displayed lines aloud.
  7. Tap the stop button when finished.
  8. Play your recording on Your Sample.
  9. If it sounds clear, tap Create my voice.
  10. Wait for the AI voice to be made.
  11. Play the new voice preview.
  12. Tap Use this voice when you want to keep it.

The first preview is your original recording. The later preview lets you hear the AI version.

If the app says the voice is ready but the preview could not play, Use this voice lets you continue with the ready voice.

Add your AI voice to a future

  1. Open Boards and find the future.
  2. Press and hold it, then choose Edit Future.
  3. Choose Voice.
  4. Tap Generate.
  5. Wait for generation to finish, then play the voice to check it.
  6. Tap the editor's top-right checkmark to save your edit.

If there is already an AI voice, the button reads Regenerate. If there is a manual recording, open the voice three-dot menu and choose Replace with generated voice.

Generation uses the voice allowance shown in the app. An allowance is how much new speech you can make before the next reset. Image Visions and voice allowance are separate.

Existing saved audio can still play when you cannot generate more.

To add AI voice to futures in your Daily Ritual:

  1. On Today, press and hold the ready Daily Ritual card, or tap the three dots on a played ritual page.
  2. Choose Customize Ritual.
  3. In Custom Ritual, tap the top-right three dots > Add Voice to Futures.
  4. If your Voice Clone is not ready, complete voice setup. Otherwise, review the futures without voice and your voice allowance.
  5. Tap Generate Voice or Generate [number] Now if the sheet offers one.

If the sheet says a future is too long for voice, shorten its words and try again.

You see the option when your ritual has futures without voice and you have Futurecast+, access to the free Voice Clone feature, or a ready Voice Clone. It adds AI voice to eligible futures without voice. It does not replace manual recordings.

Add voice automatically

  1. Open Profile > My Likeness > Voice Clone.
  2. Find Add my voice to new futures.
  3. Turn it on or off.

When on, Futurecast adds your AI voice to new futures when you have voice allowance left. First-time setup may turn this on for you, so check the switch afterward.

Turning it off does not delete audio already on your futures. Turning it on does not fill every older future automatically.

Choose a different setting for one board

  1. Open Boards, then your board.
  2. Tap the three dots > Board Settings > Voice Settings.
  3. Choose one:
    • Follow Profile: Use your main automatic voice setting.
    • Add My Voice: Add voice to new futures on this board when allowance is available.
    • Never: Do not add voice automatically on this board.

The choice applies to new futures. Never does not remove existing audio or stop you from recording a future yourself.

Add voice to existing futures on a board

  1. Open the board.
  2. Tap the three dots > Add Voice to Futures.
  3. Read how many futures can receive voice and how much allowance is available.
  4. Tap Generate Voice, or Generate [number] Now when only part of the board can be processed.
  5. Wait for the completion message.

This fills eligible futures that do not already have voice. It does not replace manual recordings. Long text or limited allowance can leave some futures without new audio.

If only part of the work finishes, the message tells you how many need attention. Check those futures before starting another request.

Change how your AI voice sounds

  1. Open Profile > My Likeness > Voice Clone.
  2. Tap Re-record voice sample.
  3. Read any re-record limit message.
  4. Complete the recording and setup steps again.
  5. Listen to the new preview before choosing Use this voice.

Re-recording the reusable voice can use a re-record allowance. It does not automatically remake voice clips already saved on your futures. Regenerate individual clips if you want them to use the new voice.

If setup does not finish

Return to Profile > My Likeness > Voice Clone and read its status.

  • Continue setup resumes the unfinished setup. Cancel setup stops it.
  • Try setup again opens setup after a failure.
  • On a failure screen, Try again retries voice creation. Re-record sample records a replacement sample.
  • Not now lets you leave and return later.

Follow a message about a quiet or noisy sample when that is the problem reported. A service failure does not mean your recording was bad.

If the app says the monthly re-record limit was reached, use the reset information or plan choices it shows. Deleting the voice does not reset that limit.

Delete your AI voice

Read the two choices before confirming. This is different from turning off automatic voice.

  1. Open Profile > My Likeness > Voice Clone.
  2. Tap Delete voice clone.
  3. Choose one:
    • Delete voice clone only: Stop making new AI voice audio. Keep audio already saved on your futures.
    • Delete voice clone & audio: Also remove generated voice clips from your futures. Manual recordings stay.
  4. Read any warning about setting up another voice.
  5. Tap the delete button to confirm, or Cancel to keep it.

The audio-removal choice is available when there are generated clips to remove. If removal only partly succeeds, the app reports that some clips may remain.

To remove voice from only one future, use Change or remove a recording. That leaves your reusable Voice Clone available.
